The Journey
This tour ticks off some of the top picks. You'll visit the ancient city of Kamiros, the mountain villages of Embona and Siana, as well as Butterfly Valley – home to hundreds of Callimorpha butterflies.

Butterfly Valley
First stop is the valley of butterfly which is home to the ''Jersey Tiger Moth'' (Euplagia quadripunctaria rhodosensis), a species of moth that is unique to Rhodes. These moths have distinctive orange and black wings and can be seen fluttering around the valley from June to September. Butterfly Valley offers well-maintained walking trails that allow our visitors to explore the area. The trails take you through dense forests, past small streams, and lead to a small waterfall. The entire hike takes around 30-40 minutes, and it's a relatively easy and enjoyable walk.

Ancient Kamiros
Next, you'll travel back in time at ancient Kamiros. The tidily laid out streets and remains of the agora and acropolis will give you a sense of how the residents went about their daily lives in the 5th century BC.

Embona
Next, you'll be at Embona, the highest village in Rhodes. It is a mountain village known for its wine production. Take a stroll through the village and visit local wineries to sample some of the island's finest wines. The village also offers stunning views of the surrounding mountains and valleys.

Siana
After Embona, you will visit the mountain-side settlement of Siana. Nestled on the slopes of Mount Akramitis, Siana is a traditional village known for its honey production and traditional handicrafts.
